ARI and the NYU student groups SALDF and SEAL have teamed up to run an ad today in NYU's Washington Square News. We've set up a web site at http://nyu.gocagefree.com/to solicit messages from the student body to Aramark's campus dining service.
Along with the advertisement comes a great letter from Jessica Almy and Melanie McCammon from SALDF with some additional background. It includes a call to action for NYU students to give the dining service "one last chance to make the switch to cage-free
eggs before the school year ends. If it doesn't, perhaps it's time for
NYU to shop for a new food service provider."
